Trust Novel by Hernan Diaz

Hernan Diaz’s Trust is a brilliant literary puzzle that unravels the secret history of a legendary Wall Street tycoon and his brilliant wife in 1920s New York. Told through four competing documents—a novel, an unfinished autobiography, a ghostwriter’s memoir, and a private diary—the narrative progressively deconstructs itself to expose how wealth manipulates truth. The story culminates in a staggering final revelation that completely rewrites the history of the couple's financial empire and exposes the systematic erasure of a woman's genius.
